If you think someone else may have accessed your Locket account, take these steps right away to secure it.
Change your password immediately
Open the Locket app and change your password as soon as possible. This will lock out anyone else who may have been using your account. If you can't log in, tap Forgot Password on the login screen to reset it.
Check your login method
Make sure your Locket account is linked to an email and/or phone number that you own and have access to. If someone else has access to your email or phone number, they may be able to get back into your account even after you change your password.
Keep your password private
Never share your Locket password with anyone β including other apps, websites, or services that ask for it. If you've shared your password with someone in the past, that may be how your account was accessed.
We also recommend using a strong, unique password that you don't use for any other accounts.
Good to know
If you lose access to your email and/or phone number linked to your account, there is unfortunately no way to recover your Locket account. Make sure your contact details are always up to date.
If you notice any activity on your account that you didn't make, change your password right away and reach out to us.
