Locket will only access your contacts if you give it permission. It's never automatic.
Why does Locket ask for contact access?
When you grant permission, Locket uses your mobile contact list β specifically saved phone numbers, names, and profile pictures β to help you find and connect with people you already know on Locket. It also makes it easier to invite friends to join.
That's it. Your contacts are used to help you find your people β nothing more.
What information is accessed?
Locket accesses phone numbers, names, and profile pictures from your mobile contact list. This information is used to match you with existing Locket users and to simplify sending invites.
You're in control
You can say no. If you decline the permission when prompted, Locket will not access your contacts. You can still add friends manually.
We don't share your contacts with advertisers. Your contact list is used solely to help you connect with friends on Locket.
