As a mom, I’m always very cautious about what apps I allow my child to download. Social media can feel overwhelming and sometimes unsafe, so I try to be really mindful. That’s why I actually feel comfortable with Locket. Locket isn’t really social media in the traditional sense. There’s no public posting, no followers, no likes, and no scrolling through strangers’ content. You only add people from your own contacts, so it’s limited to real-life friends and family. It feels much more personal and controlled. What I appreciate most is that it encourages connection in a simple, low-pressure way. Kids can send quick, real-life photos to their close friends without feeling awkward about texting or having long conversations. It’s just a sweet way to stay connected throughout the day. It brings friends together without all the noise and comparison that comes with typical social media platforms. As a parent, I feel better knowing it’s private, small, and focused on genuine friendships rather than popularity. I would recommend Locket to other parents — even the stricter ones — who want their kids to stay connected with friends in a safe and more wholesome way.

Locket is an amazing app that I can use to allow my kids to have social media but not with random ppl you can only have so many ppl too and my kid loves it she enjoys it...I hope more parents can have this app for their child instead of your kids always asking for Snapchat and BeReal and TikTok.

Hi there! I love this app so much and would totally recommend for your young teens. There is no way your child can access anyone other than in there contacts so it really gives a parent so much relief. Would 100% recommend!
