Locket is a social app for connecting with best friends. You can add the Locket widget to your Home Screen to see pictures from your best friends throughout the day. When a friend sends a picture, it will appear on your Home Screen instantly, like a virtual picture frame. You can try it out for yourself here.
Locket is intended to be used with best friends only. Typically, users only have 10-20 friends on the app. This means the platform is dedicated to communicating with friends you already know and love in real life, not for meeting new people or seeing content from strangers.
Core features
Send pics to close friends The Locket widget makes it fun and simple to share authentic moments from your day-to-day life. Almost every photo on Locket is captured in the app without editing.
React to photos Send emoji reactions back to your friends to show appreciation for their photos. Locket doesn't have likes or like counts to reduce pressure and anxiety.
View memories Look back on all the memories you and your friends have captured on Locket. Unlike other apps, photos on Locket don't disappear.
Chat with close friends Chat with your friends and respond to the Lockets they've sent. Every Locket can serve as a conversation starter.
Share weekly photo dumps Every Sunday, Locket prompts you to share your weekly "Rollcall", which is a photo dump of your favorite photos from the last week. Rollcall lets you look back on the week and share your favorite memories with friends.
