Locket is all about connecting with friends, not entertainment. This means your teen can have fun with their friends without spending hours every day on Locket. The app has been designed to be different than traditional social media apps, without an infinitely scrolling algorithmic feed. Additionally, follow the instructions below to see how much time your teen spends on Locket and apply limits.
No infinite scroll
Locket doesn't have a public, algorithmic feed that serves content based on your teen's interests. Instead, every piece of content Locket was shared by a friend, shown in chronological order. Your teen can see what their friends are up to, without being overwhelmed by endless content from across the internet.
Similarly, Locket doesn't have an infinite scrolling feed that serves endless content. Once your teen sees the latest updates from their friends, it's easy for them to leave the app without getting sucked into endless scrolling. This means teens spend far less time browsing Locket than traditional social media apps.
